• By 2021, she underwent a profound Dark Night of the Soul—confronting the ways she had dimmed her light to fit in, succeed, and be “acceptable.” Through deep inner work and energy healing, she reintegrated deeply fragmented parts of herself that had been left behind.
• As a first-generation Filipino-American from a working-class family, diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia later in life, Maricar understands the weight of expectations—and how isolating it can feel to outgrow the life you once worked so hard to build.
